Spice Tea and Mulled Wine

Waking up to the foggy morning on the 31st of January, I once again fell in love, but this time I didn’t fall in love rather I rose in love since this time my crush was on a cup of Tea which does speak to me.

For many, a morning cup of tea is a ritual but for me, it’s more than that, when I boil the water add a spoon of tea leaves, top it with some fennel, cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger, now add lime and honey, or milk as per your taste it’s like the pairing of the spices with the Wine to prepare my Mulled Wine, I love them both so the warm cup of tea satiates my soul in the morning and the mulled wine gets me ready for a warm Cozy night.

So if you are one of me then let me share why you should add all the spice to life to have a Spicy Life along with good health and give you a guilt-free life.

Fennel: Adding half a teaspoon of fennel to your morning tea or evening wine can reduce bloating, and discomfort, and can improve gut health and vision naturally.

Cinnamon: Adding this aromatic spice to your tea will not only accentuate the taste, it will also help in reducing cholesterol and improving heart health.

Lemon: Adding lemon juice or slices to your tea in the morning can give you a boost of antioxidants and vitamin C which is great for improving health and well-being.

Ginger: The presence of antioxidants in ginger helps in accelerating the process of fat loss and heals cold, cough, and congestion naturally.

Honey: Honey not only adds to the taste of the tea but at the same time works as a laxative and helps in relieving constipation, and heals digestive ailments and respiratory issues.

One can add cloves and small elaichi. I add powdered mix of cinnamon, cloves n green elaichi and a dash of fresh ginger towards the end, most people put ginger in the beginning with water and let it boil for sometime. I dont like fennel as it overpowers taste of everything else.
